It has been noted that Jakarta Fire and Rescue Dept. has 102 fire stations that spread in five cities. The number is deemed still less with the condition of the city that has a large area and densely populated.

Jakarta Fire and Rescue Dept. Secretary, Sugeng Wiyono disclosed, with a large Jakarta area and densely populated, at least each urban village has one fire station.
